Data we process and why
- Website delivery and security: the IP address, request time, requested address, response status, and browser or device information may appear in server and CDN logs. We process this data to deliver the website, prevent abuse, investigate incidents and fix errors on the basis of our legitimate interests in operating a secure and reliable service.
- Map: when the contact-page map loads, CARTO receives the technical request needed to deliver map tiles, which may include your IP address and browser information. We use the map on the basis of our legitimate interest in presenting our locations clearly.
Cookies, analytics and browser storage
NEXT_LOCALE is a first-party session cookie that remembers the language you select. It contains only a language code, is not used for analytics or tracking, and normally expires when you close your browser. We use it without requesting consent because it provides the language preference you explicitly request.
Google Analytics 4 processes usage, approximate location, browser and device data for statistics only with your consent. You can decline it without losing access, change your choice in the footer, and withdraw consent to stop Analytics and remove its accessible cookies.
Cloudflare Web Analytics measures page views and loading performance without cookies or cross-site tracking. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in maintaining website performance.

Retention
Security logs are kept only as long as needed for security and troubleshooting. Google Analytics follows our GA4 retention setting and the browser durations above. Cloudflare states that raw beacon data is kept for seven days and reports for up to six months.
